GSA Makes Procuring IT Easy
Obtaining CamNet, Inc. IT services is quick and convenient. The ordering procedures have been simplified to empower Federal agencies to cut through red tape and drastically reduce paperwork. GSA has already:
- Synopsized the procurement
- Negotiated the contracts
- Determined prices to be fair and reasonable
- Met Competition in Contracting Act (CICA) requirements
- Complied with all procurement regulations in establishing contracts
This enables your Agency to keep its documentation and paperwork to a minimum while exercising its discretion in determining “best value in obtaining services and products to support its mission.
Ordering Process Details
Obtaining IT services is quick and easy. GSA has determined the prices on all of the Federal Supply Schedules to be fair and reasonable based on their competition prior to award (FAR 8.404). There is no need to synopsize your requirements (e.g., advertise in the FedBizOpps and placing an order is as easy as filling out the procurement form used by your Agency. After reviewing three Schedules, simply make a determination of which Schedule holder offers the best overall value to your Agency and submit your purchase order to that company. This enables your Agency to keep it documentation and paperwork to a minimum while exercising its discretion in determining “best value in obtaining services and products to support its mission.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Determine if this will be a BPA or task/purchase order
- Develop a SOW in your agency format
- Send package to CamNet, Inc. Contract Support
- Comparison Schedules available at Federal Supply Schedule
- Make best value selection (See FAR 8.4)
- Submit package to ordering agency including appropriate CamNet, Inc. GSA Schedule number
NOTE: The process for obtaining CamNet, Inc. IT Services using task and purchase orders is very easy
- Complete the task/purchase order using any standard purchase form (e.g., SF1449, 1155, GSA300, etc.)
- Attach the SOW and send the package to CamNet, Inc.
- If you wish to extend or change an existing task, simply modify that order to reflect the change in scope, period of performance, deliverables, etc.
- Tasks can cross fiscal year boundaries if so authorized
- Minimum order is $20K
